Most recently, Dr. Grana is one of three select society members inducted into the Hall of Fame of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine for 2009. There have only been 40 such recipients chosen from its membership since the society was founded back in 1975. This is a great achievement for an orthopaedic surgeon in the field of sports medicine and the highest honor given to an AOSSM member. The award will be presented to Dr. Grana at the Annual Meeting of the AOSSM this July.
